Almost all the homes the Company builds are one of a kind and have been individually designed to suit each clients’ individual lifestyles and the orientation of their particular block of land to maximise liveability.

Trevor Nobbs Homes strongly believe that the design process is an integral part of the building process, although time consuming. Maximising liveability is designing a home specifically to suit each clients’ individual lifestyle requirements and orientation of their land.

Trevor Nobbs Homes are very much aware of the latest materials and trends occurring in the housing industry and continue to incorporate the principles of universal design and energy efficiency in the design of homes for their clients as they have done for several years.

Trevor is a Carpenter by trade, and has 26 years experience in the building industry with the last 17 years based in Tin Can Bay operating as Trevor Nobbs Homes. Being personally involved in the actual construction of each home not only ensures the highest quality for each client but also provides Trevor with great personal satisfaction.

Trevor's eye for detail and perfection, coupled with a commitment to quality that goes much further than the requirements of industry standards and codes, means each client’s home is built to nothing less than his own expectations.

Clients can be confident with the knowledge that Trevor works on site doing the carpentry work and supervises each part of the construction whilst his wife Michelle is employed by the Company as Office Manager taking care of the Administrative side of the business. Michelle’s previous experience with an accountancy firm followed by eleven years with one of the ‘big banks’ enables her to administer the office and the many tasks that need to be co-ordinated throughout the construction of a home.

Both Trevor and Michelle are constantly searching for new ways to improve all aspects of Trevor’s business and firmly believe communication and documentation are of the utmost importance. Michelle gives a copy of her brochure The Process to Building Your Home to all clients on acceptance of their Quotation. This explains all the steps and information that will be required leading up to the signing of the contract and throughout the construction of their new home. Trevor acknowledges his good builder’s reputation depends entirely upon our client’s satisfaction.

Trevor’s participation in the industry as Past Chairman of the Gympie Branch of the QMBA not only allows him to give something back to the industry but also keeps him informed about the latest changes in legislation and in contact with manufacturers and suppliers.
